The manifesto for Brewdog (make people feel passionate about craft beer) in my book are spookily similar to a brand purpose. The challenge is operationalising the 'manifesto', so that employees across the entire organisation exhibit desired behaviours. Organisations need an intentional methodology for doing that, because in my experience it simply doesn't just follow from getting the go-to-market strategy right.
