I agree with every word until you get to the private equity part. True private equity demands top line growth and tends to focus businesses on executional excellence. So what we get is incremental improvement of both product and presentation. This is all good but essentially we end up with what we've already got but just a bit better. If you're looking for innovation and step change then don't look to private equity boys to deliver it.
