A couple of month's ago I asked if there were companies/associations interested in a live event/talk around the themes of the Where's the Sausage book. [In case you missed it, and are still interested, there are some details here Download wheresthesausage.pdf ]
There are several events that are company-specific. But a couple of live events are open to anyone:
Breakfast session in Central London - Tues 6 November - The Marketing Society
You can book here
Evening session in Peterborough - Wed 7 November - The CIM
You can book here
These will be though-provoking and entertaining. We'll look at the malaise infecting modern day marketing (obsession with emotional branding, overstretching and using communication to cover up a mediocre product). Then, just when you wanted to find a new career, there will be salvation through some inspiring inside-stories on successful brands such as innocent, the Geek Squad and James Bond.
Hope to see you at one of the events!
