I agree we all need to start conserving water. I just rlcaeped my fill valve in my toilet with a MJSI HydroClean fill valve and added a MJSI HydroRight dual flush kit. This kit will reduce the water used when flushing just liquids. It's good to know that we are conserving water with every flush compared to before.

We are arriving at Playa Conchal on Sunday September 6th for our Honeymoon! This will be our first trip to Costa Rica. We eliamed the resort about transportation, and promptly received a reply from a local cab company that has a counter at the resort. We haven't even arrived yet, and we are already pleased with the prompt service! We have read great things about your restaurants, how wonderful the Royal Service Program is, the kindness of your staff, and the beautiful landscape. We can't wait to start our Honeymoon!-Lauren and Geof

we are actually here at the hotel now.the svierce at the restaurant's is really misguided, probably the worst I have experiances in 10+ years of inclusive resorts. Alot of staff milling around with no direction! The grounds are beautiful as is our room. Come for the beach and the beauty, certainly not the food and its many restaurants. I have ask? Has the Chef ever tasted what his cooks serve? horrfic salt overload in all restaurants and no one really cares if you enjoyed or not.Oh well, we will know better and certainly not come back. we stayed at the Mayan Riviera property last year, superior in all ways

Hi: We are taking our anaunl xmas family vacation this year at the Pardissus Riviera Maya. For the past 5 years we have always gone to the Iberostar and enjoyed it. We wanted a better kids club. We are 22 adults and 8 children under the age of 6. We have always been able to, through our travel agent, make advance dinner reservations due to our number. WE want to be able to eat together. Our travel agent has had no response from the Paradisus. this is very frustrating. We don't want to have aggravation upon arrival and not be able to book these dinners. Also we wanted to know the most convenient building to stay in close to the beach and the childrens pool and any area with kids equipment? We also want to make sure to be together in the same building and have rooms on the first floor so we don't have to drag strollers up flights of steps. What is Xplore? Thank you Stephanie Kreiner

Sarav makka Not sure about the cost effectiveness for siglne family homes, but with the raising APARTMENTS and BIG COMMUNITIES in chennai, it would definitely work out a smart idea to have these type of water re-used by filtering IN-HOUSE. Nice thought though How you have been..?.. Good luckRaj

There is a clear correlation between access to safe water and GDP per capita. However, some observers have estimated that by 2025 more than half of the world population will be facing water-based vulnerability. A recent report (November 2009) suggests that by 2030, in some developing regions of the world, water demand will exceed supply by 50%.

Many technological developments will give you, the customer, real advantages – using less film, using less energy and running faster production speeds reliably

Great write up David. I still think This Water is questionable. As you point out there is fairly formidable competition in this market not just from the big players but from some small distinctive niche players too. To focus on water would be to divert their attention away from their core fruit business, which would be a bad thing. To go into this sort of market with little focus begs the question why bother, wouldn't the resource devoted to this non-focus activity be better fully focused on growing the
core.

Returning to the McD's question. For me this looks like a toss up between an undoubtedly good volume opportunity and remaining true to innocent brand values. Whilst I concede that there isn't anything specific in innocent's
ethics which this goes against, it just seems out of line with the general feel of the brand. Richard Seymour (of designers Seymour Powell), at a conference I once attended, said of the Kit Kat move from foil and paper
wrap to flow wrap "it's not that people are immediately going to stop buying Kit Kat because they've changed the wrapper, they're just going to love it a little bit less" (the inference being that they would drift away little by little over time because the brand had taken away a part of what
made it special and different from other brands). Small things matter and whilst I'm not of the McD's is evil persuasion it would surprise me to find Innocent being sold there.
